The Utah Hot Honey Burger
INGREDIENTS
BURGER PATTIES
1 lb ground meat (I used local ground Turkey)
2 Tbsp King’s Peak Seasoning Blend
1/3 cup Laziz Foods Baba Ghanouj
1/4 cup Shredded Beehive Cheese, Hatch Chile Cheddar
1 egg From Oakdell Farms
Salt to taste with Redmond Real Salt
UTAH HOT HONEY
2-3 tbsp Chili Beak Spicy Roasted Chili Oil
1/3 cup Utah Raw Unfiltered Honey
1 tsp Minced Garlic
2 tsp Kings Peak Seasoning Blend
Salt to taste with Redmond Real Salt

Double Dips Fry Sauce
Pepperlane “Sweet Mother of Onion” Jalapeno Marmalade
Nature Jims Spicy Sprouts Mix
Harmons Honey Apple Cider Vinegar

Utah Hot Honey and Hot Honey Fry Sauce
Heat up Chili Beak Spicy Roasted Chili Oil in a small saucepan over medium heat.
Once oil is hot add harissa and minced garlic, cook for about 2 minutes stirring occasionally.
Add Utah Raw Unfiltered Honey , stir to incorporate and turn off heat.
Keep the pan on the stove top to let the honey warm up gently, avoid boiling.
Salt to taste, with Redmond Real Salt.
To make Hot Honey Fry Sauce Combine a ¼ cup of Double Dips Fry Sauce with 2-3 Tbsp of Utah Hot Honey.
The Utah HOt Honey Burger
In a medium bowl combine all of the Patty Ingredients. (I like to start with about ½ tsp of Redmond Real salt.) Let sit together for at least 10 minutes, (perfect time for you make your Utah Hot Honey)
Heat a splash of oil over medium high heat in a skillet with a lid, use this to test a small portion of seasoned meat, cook it through and taste for salt. Adjust salt accordingly.
Form 4 equal patties with Seasoned meat, about 1 in thick.
Heat about a tbsp of olive oil, and toast your Harmons Challah Sandwich Rolls, set aside.
Reduce heat to medium and add Patties to pan, cook about 4 minutes with the lid on, then flip patties and cook an additional 3 minutes with the lid on.
While these are cooking in a small bowl combine Nature Jims Spicy Sprouts Mix, a splash of Harmons Honey Apple Cider Vinegar and Olive Oil, with a pinch of Redmond Real Salt.
Check the internal temperature of the patties, you want them to be over 145 degrees.
Flip one more time, top with more Beehive Cheese, Hatch Chile Cheddar, continue to cook with the lid on until an internal temperature of 165 degrees fahrenheit is reached. (about 3minutes).
Build your Utah Hot Honey Burger: Spread the Pepperlane “Sweet Mother of Onion” Jalapeno Marmalade on the bottom roll, place patty on top, for extra spice drizzle some more of the Utah Hot Honey, then top with your dressed Nature Jims Spicy Sprouts Mix, lastly lather the top roll with your Utah Hot Honey Fry Sauce.
